Last week Pat and I went a couple of hundred miles up the west coast to Achmelvich. It's a little place with a hostel, a few houses, caravan site, shop and chippy, about 3 miles from Lochinver. It's a fantastic part of Scotland with many white sand beaches, more like the Mediterranean than Scotland.
